Job Description
As an English teacher, you’ll lead your students to tackle a treasure hunt using English, design an energy-saving proposal to the principal or even instill confidence for them to study abroad. In order to do this, you will use existing resources to perform craft lessons which will foster students to interaction and high talk time. You’ll build confidence and fluency and aim to give students aged 3-12 a high-energy, fun and memorable experience.
1. Monthly maximum teaching hour: 90 hrs; Office hour:8hrs/day(8:30am-12:00 2:30pm-18:30pm)
2. Conduct courses in accordance with set schedule. Correct homework and answer students’ questions during office hours. Develop curriculum for required programs.
4. Frequent communication with relevant departments or certain coordinators to maintain the flow of info, and to better solve the foreseeing or existing problems in teaching process.
5. Participate in marketing activities such as giving presentations and demo classes or meeting with prospective students and their parents as well as going to school and shopping mall for the market development and sales promotion.
Qualifications required:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, at least college education from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Australia;
2.Native speaker or bilingual proficiency in English. TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language), ESL(English as a Second Language) or TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate holder is preferred.
3. Age between 20-45 years old. At least 2 years ESL teaching experience or experience teaching K-12 in public schools, international schools or training institutions is preferred. But if you have TEFL certification then you don’t need 2 years teaching experience. Graduates with advanced degrees in education/ educational administration will be given additional priority.
4. Candidates with intermediate or advanced Mandarin will be given preference.
5. Candidates must have high moral integrity, no conflicting political alliances and a clean criminal record, with no evidence of drug use.
6. Patient, easy-going, with strong interpersonal collaborative organizational skills and teamwork spirit. And the candidate should be motivated enthusiastic and passionate about teaching as well as living in a foreign country.
Remuneration:
1.Competitive basic salary 1500-2000$/month based on the candidate’s quality.
2.Free accommodation arrangement.7nights’ hotel accommodation upon arrival and assistance in apartment hunting.
3.International airfare allowance 8000-10000rmb/yr, including flight reimbursement up to 4000rmb upon arrival.
4.Free pick-up service from the airport.
5.Reimbursed work visa, residence permit and medical checkup fees.
6.A full induction program. Regular teacher training and academic development workshops conducted by our national and regional trainers. Ongoing team-building activities organized by the school.
We offer 12 month contract, although you’re welcome to stay longer if you want!
